ELO Cellist Killed By Bail Of Hay..
Electric Light Orchestra cellist Mike Edwards, 62, was going for a leisurely drive in the English countryside,when a 13-hundred pound roll of hay tumbled down a hillside and crashed into his vehicle.
The musician, who played with ELO from 1972 to 1975, died instantly.

In Chicago This Weekend ? - North Coast Music Festival at Union Park
North Coast Music Festival: A hodge-podge of hip-hop (De La Soul, Lupe Fiasco, Nas), electronic artists (Moby, Chemical Brothers, Paul Van Dyk) and jam bands (Umphrey’s McGee, Disco Biscuits) makes this one of the more left-field independent festivals on Chicago’s summer calendar.

PASTE MAGAZINE - Felt The Crunch...
| The death of music journalism continues. Paste Magazine, the Georgia based music publication which has been covering independent music, film, and culture for nearly a decade, has folded, according to Gawker.
There has yet to be an official announcement; however, Gawker cites an inside source and several “searching for a job” tweets from the magazine’s employees. Update: Paste has made it official, though the magazine’s digital assets — including PasteMagazine.com — will remain up and running.
The news is anything but surprising. In recent years, Paste has relied on reader donations to stay afloat. In 2009, for example, the magazine launched the “Save Paste” campaign and offered exclusive music in exchange for donations. More recently, a Paste sponsored tour was announced.
