WARNER DRIVE - Update
Here's the latest following Saturday's show at the Key Club...
"The show was a screaming success in regards to impressing the South By Southwest Music Festival scouts who came to see us. We're locked in to 3 showcases in Austin TX in March. We're really excited! I wanted to say thank you to my friends who continually support me and make me look good at shows like these by being there to cheer the band on... it paid off and we're so excited to be heading to TX in March. You guys rule! Thank you for everything!"

EMI Looks To Shed A Few More "Pounds"....
|
Call me crazy.....but you would think someone dropped from one of these companies could come up with a better business model........
(Telegraph.co.uk)EMI Music is drawing up plans for radical cost cuts, including a further reduction in its 3,500-strong workforce, to persuade investors to stump up the £120m that private equity owner Terra Firma needs to retain control of the business.
The plan, which is being devised by a 12-strong executive team, was disclosed last night by EMI Music chief executive Elio Leoni-Sceti.... MORE HERE

Dying Breed sends an update on the next release....

The last rehearsal for the new DYING BREED album went really well . We all set up in a circle with acoustic guitars and bass with T Bone on drums . We went over arrangements and melodies and changed Dirty love a lot . It is even better than I ever thought it could be . Matt is working hard on his melodies and lyrics .... Chopper filled in on bass while Jimmy is overseas and brings a tremendous perspective to harmonies and parts .
If all goes well we will track the end of the month three new songs and you will here samples shortly after These should be completed by March and we will continue on from there.
The three songs will be
Fell Hard 4 U

FRIENDS FOR HIRE - Well, Still Friends At Least...
| From Tony Morgan
"Ok. So some of you may have heard. Friends For Hire did in-fact break up. The reason: We were hitting a roadblock and we just weren't moving forward as a group anymore. Treading water can only get you so far for so long. This doesn't mean that music is over for any of us. I am going to start a new project in the near future and I'm sure the other guys are going to definitely do great things in music. So keep a look out for all of us. I love all of them and just remember that this isn't the end for any of us."
"We would like to thank all the fans over the years for all the support. Anyone who ever came out to a show, and anyone who ever bought anything to help us get to our next show!I Or even anyone who ever stole our music and gave it to their friends. We love you all." :)
